私について

There you are!
This is certainly not the place where I would expect to find the one who'll make me say it, but who knows? To keep it short, I don't care for sports (don't mind playing, but don't enjoy watching), I love to sing, love the theater and movies, and I'm pretty much a home body unless there's a really good reason to go out. I'm a horrible romantic who is often crass but seldom uncaring. I try to always be fair. If I'm backed against a wall I will fight my way through. If I'm given a reasonable path through, I'll take it. I don't like to fight, but love a good debate. I'm almost always right, except when I'm wrong. When I am wrong, I feel it my duty to fess up to it to all concerned parties. My goal in life is to hurt as few as possible, please as many as possible, and someday find the right woman who will cause me to gaze across the table, think, and say "There you are!"
I'll know when I find her. As yet, I have not. I thought I did once, a long time ago, but we were not like minded in that regard. I've tried, once or twice since, to convince myself I had found her, all for naught. It's a tough gig. When the blood is running hot the appeal of the moment can be blinding. I've certainly let it blind me more than once, and at times it's been fun. Would I do it again? Probably, yes, though it's been my experience that the experience leaves one or the other wanting more. So, I'm not looking for a one night stand, but would probably be happy to accept one should it come along. Who is the one who will make me think "There you are"? I don't know. Hopefully, when I find her, she'll be thinking the same thing.
